Didn't Take CP3 Long to Get Back From Injury and BALL
So apparently Chris Paul is back and playing. That's something I didn't know, but I'm stupid so whatever. I think my mind has been blocked out because Spring Training games have started in the MLB, and that takes priority in my book. Anyway, if you actually listen to our podcast, which few people actually do, then you will know that I have stated that the Clippers can be title-contenders if Chris Paul is healthy. Well, good new Clippers fans...he's healthy! Well at least for now. As long as he is healthy, then I honestly believe that the Clippers can play just about anyone in the NBA and win. Also, the facilitating point guard that Chris Paul is, showed flashes of his old self, cutting up opponents. Paul had 15 points and 17 assists against a surprisingly balanced attack of the Charlotte Hornets. CP3 put on his best Dwyane Wade impression by coming up short of a triple-double by one rebound. Now in Wade's defense he had his own teammate take the rebound away from him, thus preventing him from completing his triple-double, but thats a completely different story. All I'm trying to say is this...Blake Griffin is playing like a monster right now, and DeAndre Jordan is THE monster, so watch out West, because you do not want to wake up the giants in Los Angeles. This LA team could be a Jack Powers "sleeper" pick, if you will as they have a well balanced lineup that can move the ball better than any team on any given night.
PS: Chris if you read this, tell DeAndre to cut the dreads/whatever he has going on. Thanks
